About Novi

For many people around the world, basic financial services are still out of reach: about 1.7 billion adults globally remain unbanked. The cost of that exclusion is significant — $25 billion is lost by migrants every year through remittance fees. This is the challenge we’re hoping to address with Novi, whose goal is to provide people everywhere access to safe and affordable financial services through the Diem payment system, which is built on blockchain technology. Our first product will be a digital wallet - Novi - for the Diem network, and it will be available in Messenger, WhatsApp, and as a standalone app. At Novi, you will be working with a talented and dedicated group of people who are passionate about changing the world. Our leadership is experienced and some of the best minds working today in their respective fields. Our team is looking for a Global Product Compliance Manager to support the strategy, development and implementation of all aspects related to the change management of Novi’s product lifecycle from a compliance perspective. This person will work closely with the Head of Product and KYC Compliance to ensure that all new product initiatives, or changes to existing product constructs, are thoroughly evaluated for compliance risk. A successful candidate for this role will have strong collaboration and communication skills, as this role will serve as the primary compliance point of contact for Novi’s Product Management team. This person will partner closely with Product to gain visibility into all planned product changes and will advise them on such changes from a compliance perspective. The Global Product Compliance Manager will be responsible for keeping the wider Novi Compliance team updated on all product changes, and will communicate the risks and highlight the impact to Novi’s global compliance program and internal requirements. This person will have broad knowledge of compliance domains, such as sanctions, KYC, AML transaction monitoring and consumer protection, and will work closely with the leads of these program areas to ensure new risks are properly identified and that controls are implemented where needed. This person will be responsible for bringing all new product evaluations to the appropriate committees/forums, ensuring that approvals and documentation are recorded and retained appropriately.
