Our Consumer team builds safe and affordable financial services for people, enabling them to transact by sending money to friends and family or paying for goods and services using Meta's apps. We’re looking for a passionate and seasoned product marketer to join the Meta Financial Technologies marketing team. This person will be responsible for bringing to market consumer purchase use-cases on Meta’s messaging apps, i.e. Instagram, Messenger. The individual will help refine our product strategy, drive inbound and outbound marketing efforts, as well as handle the tactical go-to-market execution across cross-functional teams in order to deliver the best experience for our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer marketing, clear and effective communication skills, and familiarity with the payments sector.
Lead go-to-market efforts for our consumer purchase use-cases on Meta’s messaging apps.
Work with the insights and research teams to engage in consumer segmentation and identify as well as address the needs of our users.
Develop core value props and messaging and ensure consistency across all channels.
Keep a pulse on the competitive person-to-merchant (P2M) landscape in the financial space and incorporate learnings into go-to-market materials.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including product, legal, policy, communications stakeholders and broader marketing team) to prepare for launch readiness.
Provide tactical support such as developing marketing assets, key FAQs, attending sprint planning and review meetings.
Identify product growth opportunities through marketing efforts and work with cross-functional partners to test and implement.
7+ years of experience in product marketing or related disciplines in consumer technology
Experience setting strategic direction and executing operational and go-to-market plans that require input and execution from multiple teams
Experience in creating frameworks to evaluate problems and present a recommendation for how to proceed
Experience in influencing a cross-functional team
Experience within the payments sector
